New Brakes and Seats Shine in the Sun at NJMP Thunderbolt
July took BH Motorsport back to New Jersey Motorsports Park, this time on the faster Thunderbolt circuit, and the weather delivered. Warm, dry, and clear for a proper summer day at the track.
The trip doubled as a shakedown for a round of upgrades. A fresh brake package went on the Cayman GTS along with new seats and a proper harness setup, and the car felt sharper and more connected right away. The new brakes gave a firmer, more confident pedal, and the added support from the seats and belts made a real difference through the fast, flowing sections. The GTS ran strong all weekend and gave no trouble.
The weekend flagged a few small items worth dialing in, so BH Motorsport is heading back to fine tune the setup and log more time on the new hardware. The foundation is there. Now it is about the details.
